A long-term Bay Area restaurant partnership was dissolving and the remaining partner and the departing partner required the valuation of their portfolio of restaurants. Vine Solutions was engaged to evaluate the businesses and present an approach, methodology and final results that were compelling to the partners. Vine Solutions evaluated the businesses, reviewed partnership agreements and leases and performed the analysis and achieved agreement from the separating parties on appropriate valuations and share. In addition, Vine Solutions suggested financing methods that benefited the respective parties by providing funding to the Buyer and lowering income taxes on the transaction for the Seller.
